I'm a die hard Manchester United Fan, and I love english football. I want to join this group to find other fans in my area to chat football 'soccer' with and get to know.
What team do you root for?
Manchester United Red Devils! I also cheered for the Stoke Potteries, but now that they're in premier and not championship, I dont follow much anymore.
Who's your favorite player from recent years?
Still a new fan, but I'm learning everyday. Being the Red Devil fan that I am, I really enjoy watching Carrick and Hargreaves when they're not injured and on the field. I mean everyone loves Rudy, and Ronaldo is considered one of the world's best.
Who was your favorite player 'back in the day'?
Back in the day? Hmm.. I really didnt grow my love for football until about 3-4 years ago. I grew up with the players like Mia Hamm and Cobi Jones, but where never huge followers. My cousin-in-law is a big fan of Landon Donovan though.
Have you ever seen any legendary matches in person? If so, don't spare any details...
Oh god! I wish. I'm currently planning a visit to German and England, so it would be a dream to see a match at Old Trafford.
Where do you usually watch your matches?
Back home when I lived with my parents in KS, they got the sky Sports channel and also the Fox soccer channel. Now that I'm in Mesa, I rely on the internet and friends. I need to find a place though! Any suggestions?
